This is hands down one of the best Airbnb/B&B experiences I have ever had. Melina & Jim are consummate hosts and their home is beautiful, pristine, well-appointed, and, above all else, extraordinarily comfortable. Upon our arrival, they came out to greet us and to show us the space where we would be staying. Additionally, the dinner Melina prepared for us (upon request) and breakfast the following morning was exceptional. Make sure you reserve the dinner option because it was unforgettable. Most of all, Melina and Jim were very gracious and spent time talking to us and getting to know us, which really made the visit exceptional. We can't wait to go back and strongly urge anyone to stay here at the Catbird Cottage!

Cannot recommend the stay at Melina and Jim's highly enough. Two of the most genuine people we have ever encountered, they made our entire stay so lovely. In the past two weeks since our stay, we've repeatedly thought back to specific times (for instance, eating breakfast on the back deck watching the squirrels in the trees) which has brought us so much peace. We can't wait to go back next year.

I cannot say enough positive things about our two night stay at Catbird Cottage. From the warm welcome and great conversation with Melina and Jim, to the outrageously comfortable bed and peaceful atmosphere, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the small pleasures. Jim and Melina were such wonderful hosts. So welcoming as per usual, and so fun to stay at their place. This is our second stay here, and the food was incredible. The dishes they prepared for dinner (totally recommend adding this by the way!) were so delicious and prepared with care and keeping in mind the seasons in which they are served. My recent stay at Catbird Cottage was all that I imagined and more. I'd been longing for a quick get away with the perfect mix of charm, tranquility, warmth and culinary goodness and this beautiful stay with Melina and Jim was perfect.

My daughter and I were celebrating birthdays and just needed a nice break — the cottage and hosts made us feel at home — from the lovely, relaxing room with amazing linens, great books, candles and a warm skylight (for the perfect naps) to the deliciously curated meals that were made with so much passion and love. Melina and Jim paid attention to every detail in making sure we had a wonderful time.

We loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning when the garden is in full bloom.

Such a lovely foodie getaway. If you enjoy slowing down and getting inspired by the simple pleasures of life, this is the spot for you! Highly recommend a dinner add on to your stay. Melina and Jim are such welcoming and present hosts. We so enjoyed our time in their beautiful home, inside and out. The food was just incredible and made with such care and love. The space is filled with beautiful little still life flower arrangements and books galore. There is a lot to inspire and feed a sense of relaxation and ease. Great hikes and nature all around to explore, and lots of cute little towns to adventure into. Or, just hang out in the hammock with a good book! Will definitely be back one day in the future :)

We had an amazing stay at Catbird. The tranquility of the humble cottage was exactly what we needed to rest and reflect. Jim & Melina welcomed us with such kindness and generosity as soon as we arrived, and the room made us feel instantly at home. The pieces in the space are perfectly curated, making it the perfect stay for any creatives who are searching for a little inspiration. The garden space is bountiful this time of year. The herbs, produce, and other ingredients can be found throughout your breakfast, a spectacular start to the morning. Melina's attention to detail and passion for creating beautiful meals shines through greatly. We can't wait to visit Catbird again, to explore the beauty of the land and to continue the great conversations and connections had with Melina & Jim.
